Are you a talented athlete ready to make an impact? The Carrollton Colts 14U Select team is eager to discover rising stars—both skill players and linemen—before our upcoming tryouts. Sharing your football highlights early gives us a valuable window into your on-field strengths.

What we’d love to see:

• Your most dynamic plays: key tackles, blocks, catches, runs, agility, and game-changing moments.

• Multiple types of angles if possible (sideline, end zone) to better assess your fundamentals.

• Game context where your effort and decision-making shine through.

Please submit your footage by November 1st so our coaching staff has time to review and get to know each athlete before tryout day.

How to share:

• Instagram: Tag your videos with @CarrolltonColts214 or message us directly. Make sure your account is set to public or your story/posts are discoverable.

• Email: Send a link to your highlight reel (via YouTube, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) directly to our Head Coach, Francois Ransom, at [email protected].

Why this matters:

• Helps our coaches identify talent and make informed decisions on tryout day.

• Gives you a head start in standing out amid a competitive field.

• Demonstrates your drive, preparation, and professionalism.

Important Tryout Info:

• Tryouts will take place behind Plano West High School (5613 Yeary Rd. Plano, TX 75093) starting Saturday, November 8th, 2025 from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM; see the “Tryouts & Registration” section on our site for details or our Instagram page! Add us online, to make sure you received up to date information regarding tryouts and more.

• Players who make the team must have a State‑Issued ID—birth certificates or Passport.

• If you make the team, you and your parent/guardian will need to be present at the end of tryouts to complete forms for the upcoming season. Prior to stepping on the field, consents will need to be signed. 

• In order to play, you must make our age cut off and cannot be 15 on or before 7/1/2025.
